WELCOME TO BETTER TIME
About
A rational way to meassure time
Have you ever wondered why there are:

-
60 seconds in a minute
-
60 minutes in an hour
-
24 hours in a day
-
28, 30 or 31 days in a month
-
12 months in a year
These are relics of the past (fun facts here), that are inconvenient and irrational in our daily life and for our business, scientific and official matters.
There is a better way to track time that defines:

-
100 seconds in a minute
-
100 minutes in an hour
-
10 hours in a day
-
28 days in a month
-
13 months in a year

To work, Better Time requires the following additional modifications:

-
A second is redefined as the duration of 7,942,433,849.28 (instead of 9,192,631,770) periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the caesium-133 atom. This makes the redefined second 0.864 times the current second.
-
At the end of each year an extra day must be included to account for the 365th day of the year (28 days per month times 13 months a year give 364 days). This day is called the "day outside time" in the 13 Moon Calendar, yet it is better to consider it an end of year holiday instead of July 25th as usually done.
-
At the end of each leap year two extra days must be included to account for the fact that the Earth goes around the sun in 365 days and 6 hours.
Better Time uses the 13 Moon Calendar
